Olympic waves and beaches

As you walk out of the coastal forests of Olympic National park you are mainly greeted with beaches covered in driftwood.

Massive logs lay on the beaches as you try to maneuver to a clear spot to place the microphones.

The beauty of these beaches is the feeling you get of being alone with nature.

I love the sound of the Waves as they crash against the rocks and sand.

This is a recording just south of Tatoosh island and west of Neah bay.

Recorded with Sennheiser MKH 30/40 microphones onto a sound devices 722 recorder.
